Many different levers can be designed to the users needs. Generally, no two levers are exactly the same. We strive to place levers in convenient, comfortable playing positions. Most levers are made to be adjustable in length and throw.
Levers can be made with
or without bearings. We use several types of bearings to assure
positive response and adjustability. Instrument configuration
rarely impedes lever application.
In some rare instances, tubing has had to be rerouted to apply a suitable lever. The slide in the picture above was rerouted from the lower half of the horn so that the musician could access the slide with the left hand in normal playing position.
