Our marimbas and xylophones are crafted to be consistent in both tonal and sustaining qualities throughout the entire range of the instrument. Each bar is selected from the finest natural rosewood and then finely tuned and coupled with a resonator to create the superior full-bodied tone.

No instrument leaves our warehouse until it meets the high standards of Kori's consulting staff of professional percussionists, who also assist in personalized selection of each instrument. At Kori, we are always developing new ideas and models to meet the expanding needs of the mallet percussionist. For instance, most of our models come with adjustable height, and choice of different styles. New instruments go through many years of development from the initial concept to delivery to your door. We work closely with some of the leading professionals and educators at major universities across the United States and Canada, and listen intently to their ideas, suggestions, and criticisms.

When a prototype is ready, we arrange testing sessions all over the country and invite percussionists to play test the new instrument and to offer suggestions for improvement. When the instrument is finally ready for production, it goes through many quality inspections at the factory before reaching us.

At the Kori warehouse, the instrument is inspected once more and play tested for intonation, balance, and resonance. Any bar that does not meet the high standards of Kori Percussion is removed from the instrument and replaced immediately. When your order arrives in our office, our staff and consultant mallet artists assist in the personalized selection of your instrument. Still, your tastes may differ, which is why we offer a 15 day trial period, 90 day tuning and replacement warranty, and one full year frame warranty.
