The Kori 1200F Marimba is the definition of a professional marimba. The extra wide bars are cut from choice Honduras Rosewood and combined with our compact air column resonators in the lower register to produce the rich, warm tone that Kori has become known for. The frame is constructed for rattle free, long lasting beauty as well as functional durability. Patented Kori features such as the center support brace, stabilizing arms, and heavy-duty casters provide optimum frame support. The Kori model 1200A comes with three pair of Kori professional mallets and drop cover.

Open Frame "Deluxe" Models

The Model 2000, 1200F & 1200E are available in Open Frame Deluxe Models, designed for the serious marimba artist who wants to personalize their instrument to their individual needs. The open frame allows the performer the flexibility of adjustable height. The frame is still hinged in the center, however the open-end pieces feature hinged legs, which also fold and lock into a compact space. The frame is well insulated from vibrations to provide the rich Kori sound in a rattle-free lightweight frame. These design improvements make the Deluxe models unsurpassed in range and functionality. If your percussion program must move one or two marimbas every time you have a performance, then make these the next additions to your program.
