Jeffrey Rideout is currently tuba artist/clinician for Custom Music Company in Ferndale, Michigan. He coordinates the operations related to tuba/euphonium marketing and sales. Custom's reputation has been a recognized leader in tuba and euphonium design and development for the last 30 years. As a result of this constant development by and with leading professionals and educators, new instruments are introduced on a regular basis.

Mr. Rideout has had college teaching experience having performed duties for Ball State University as full time music faculty. At Ball State he performed quarterly concerts with the Da Camara faculty brass quintet, coached student brass quintets and brass choirs, directed the tuba-euphonium ensemble, and taught all low brass students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Mr. Rideout has completed work in music performance degrees at Ohio State University (MM) and Arizona State University (DMA).

While resident tuba specialist for Custom Music, Jeffrey presents numerous clinics and performances during the year at state music educator conferences, emphasizing training for the younger student.
