Alison Shaw has been recently appointed to the faculty of Michigan State University. Active as a chamber musician and advocate of new music, Alison has performed with groups such as The Myriad Chamber Ensemble, The Detroit Contemporary Chamber Players, and The Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble. Ms. Shaw is also a founding member of QUOROM, a variable instrumentation sextet. She is active as a recital soloist and clinician and enjoys presenting workshops in rhythm and movement for musicians of all ages.
