Perantucci French Horn Mouthpieces

This newly developed mouthpiece series enables musicians to utilize the complete tonal spectrum of the horn and enjoy the benefits of 'The Right Response" for which Perantucci mouthpieces are noted.

These mouthpieces provide direct response, low resistance, open air flow and excellent accuracy in all registers. The internal and external cup shapes respect current concepts of sound and dynamic range and the throat bores are optimized for full volume. The shell shapes and weights are adjusted for maximum center and projection.

PT-Ol G

Cup Diameter:  17 mm.

This model features a flat rim which optimizes the contact to the lips. The lightweight design and slender cup support a particularly fast arid easy response. An ideal mouthpiece for chamber music and solo performance.

PT-02 G

Bore:  4.3 mm.
Cup Form:  Pear shaped
Weight:  45 Grams
Option:  4.4 mm.
Rim:  4.2 mm. - Round

This model best represents the concepts of the entire series as well as the special rim shape which provides good contact to the lips and the desired tonal flexibility. The shell is slender, adding lightness to the response. It is an excellent mouthpiece for those players who prefer a medium-size cup diameter and provides substantial sound in all registers.

PT-03 G

Bore:  4.5 mm.
Cup Form:  Pear shaped

Rim:  4.2 mm. - Round

The playing characteristics of this model are similar to the PT 02 G. The larger throat bore and cup coupled with a heavier shell enable production of a greater range of sounds as well as a unique tonal character.

PT-04 G

Bore:  4.6 mm.
Cup Form:  Pear shaped
Weight:  48 Grams
Option:  4.7 mm.
Rim:  4.2 mm. - Round, conical transition into throat.

Similar to the the PT 03 G in some respects but with a fuller lower cup and different backbore. This mouthpiece requires more air and support but awards the player with a particularly large and open sound. Low resistance for well developed players.

PT-05 G

Cup Form : Pear shaped
Weight:  46 Grams
Rim:  4.2 mm. - Round

This model, the largest in the series, features a slender upper cup. It retains the excellent blowing qualities of the others and provides a round and full sound at medium volume levels. In Forte the sound intensifies so that the desired character of the entire series is retained.
